Mary Theresa Jesty, of North Sydney, passed away on April 5, 2018 at the age of 81. Born in North Sydney, Theresa was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Clark) Richards.
Theresa spent her time sipping Diet Pepsi, collecting angel ornaments and socializing with her gal pals in North Sydney. She loved country music, singing in the choir and extreme decorating at Christmas time. Theresa will be forever remembered by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons Angus and Chris MacLellan; her daughters-in-law, Tina, Kathy and Marion, and her beloved grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Theresa was predeceased by her first husband, Angus MacLellan; her second husband, Rodney Jesty; her two sons, George and Wayne MacLellan, and her sister, Linda.
A graveside committal for Theresa will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home. 107 Pleasant Street, North Sydney.
