Anne Elizabeth (nee Howatson) McCormick, 69, of St. Catharines, Ont., passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in St. Catharines.
Born in Florence, Cape Breton, N.S., she was the daughter of the late John James Howatson and Annie Mae (nee Stubbert) Howatson.
She is survived by her brother, John James, St. Catharines.
Anne was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Andrew McCormick, her sisters, Donna Marie and Catherine Stella and her brothers, John Robert and Harold as well as her late husband’s parents, John Leonard McCormick and Theresa Margaret McCormick (nee MacDonald).
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received on Friday, May 27, 2011, at Butler Funeral Home, 33 Duke St., St. Catharines, 905-684-2334 from 1–3 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Anne’s life will take place on Friday, May 27, 2011, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Private interment to take place at a later date.
