Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Frederick George Croucher (2000). Leaving to mourn with fond and precious loving memories are sons: Tom (Margaret), Freddie and Gerald; daughters: Velma Rose (Wayne), Brenda Tucker (Patrick), Shirley Coffin (Winston); fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; sister Jeannette Walker (Max) of Bishops Falls; brother John Welsh (Fronie); sisters-in-law: Shirley Van Kestren of St. John’s, Velma Elligsen of Ontario; a very special sister-in-law Jean Welsh of Bishops Falls and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and again on Friday at the Pentecostal Church, Park Avenue from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Pentecostal Church, Park Avenue on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the Mt.
