Peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, October 8, 2018, surrounded by her family, Patricia Anne Lee (nee Laurie) joined the angels in heaven. By her side faithfully as in the past 58 years was her husband and best friend, Honourable James Lee (Jim). Lovingly comforted and surrounded by her family Laurie-Anne McInnis (Jim), Patti-Sue Lee (Kent MacLean) and Jason Lee (Suzanne). Patsy’s joy in her life was her grandchildren, Logan and Shamus McInnis, Isabelle and Matthew Lee, and Gabrielle MacLean. Forever remembered by her dearest cousin, Mike (Janet) Murphy of Cumberland. Predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Annie Laurie of Cumberland, her infant sister Sally Anne and her beloved Aunt and Uncle, Hilda and Edmund Handrahan. Patsy will be resting at the Hennessey Funeral home with visiting hours Thursday, October 11 from 2 -4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held at St Eugene’s Church in Covehead with funeral mass on Friday, October 12 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Special thanks and gratitude to the health care providers and staff at the Meadowview unit at Beach Grove home. Memorial donations in Patsy’s name may be made to the PEI Alzheimer’s Society or the PEI Kidney Foundation.
