Passed peacefully away at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on May 11, 2011, Mr. Norman John Russell of William's Harbour, NL, in his 80th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters Laura Flynn, and Clara Russell; brothers William Russell, Freeman (Rosalind) Russell, Howard (Dorothy) Russell, George (Louise) Russell, and Redgeway (Valerie) Russell, and a large circle of nieces and nephews including a wide circle of friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father Levinia and William, his sister Susie Sooley, brothers Albert, Jacob, Melvin, and Robert, brothers-in-law Thompson Flynn and Jacob Hill. Visitation was held at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in William’s Harbour followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 16. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
