It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Emile H. LeBlanc on Thursday, August 27, 2009. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Emile was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Emile is survived by six children, Alberteen, Frances (Lloyd) Yvonne (John), Anne-Marie, Junior (Ella), Joe (Shirley); 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Emile was predeceased by Lorraine LeBlanc, the mother of his children; also two brothers Joseph and John; two sisters, Emma and Alberteen.
Grave site service will be held Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Bras d’Or.
We the family of the late Emile LeBlanc wish to thank the V.O.N. home care workers and Dr. John Kirkpatrick for their loving care and thoughtfulness to our dad.
