At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 of Elspeth “Ellie” Claire Crane (MacLeod), of Vernon Bridge, age 79 years. Beloved wife of Robert T. Crane. Survived by her sisters-in-law Vivian MacLeod and Betty MacEachern, her brother-in-law Gary Crane, her special canine friend Sparky. Ellie is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Percy and Margaret (Bruce) MacLeod, brothers Lloyd and Gerald, sisters-in-law Shirley MacLeod, Myrna Moreside and brother-in-law Clifford Crane. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. Visitation Monday 6-8 p.m. Interment in Orwell Cemetery.
