HILL, Shirley (nee Osmond) – Passed away suddenly at her home on May 26, 2011, age 63 years. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Phyllis Osmond and her long loving husband John (Bud) Hill. Leaving to mourn her two daughters: Renee Whalen (Dennis Kennedy) and Danielle Whalen. Shirley will be missed by her four grandchildren whom she adored and lived for: Adam, Jonathan, Daniel and Abby. Also leaving her two brothers: Fred (Alma) Osmond and Sam (Marg) Osmond and two sisters: Margie Melee and Jean (Fred) Kearsey, also a special brother-in-law Chuck (Ellie) Canon, a large circle of nieces, nephews and special friends, as well as dear friends Roger, Kenny, Tina, Pat and Gloria mourn her passing. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Sunday, May 29th and Monday, May 30th from 12-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Thomas’ Anglican Church on Tuesday, May 31st at 11 a.m. with interment to take place at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road on Wednesday, June 1st at 10 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Shirley’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
