Harvey McInnis passed away on November 4, 2018 in Toronto at the age of 72.
Born in Glace Bay on April 5, 1946 he is the son of the late Art and Mary (Maidy McDonald) McInnis.
His love was music, he recorded a CD/Tape, with all the songs written by himself. He was a coal miner and at one time was a member of the Painter and Sandblaster Union.
He is survived by daughter, (Robin) Rokelle (Errol) Fortin, New Waterford and son, Harvey Jr. (Tracey), Calgary; grandsons, Keagan, and Brauch; granddaughters, Kendra, Kassidi, Stephenie and Rebekah; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jacob, Aadyn and Hayden; former wife and mother to his children, “Millie”; sisters, Gatha, Betty, Della and brother, Joe (Kay).
He was predeceased by son, Harvey; brothers, Junior, Sonny; a sister and brother in infancy.
Cremation has taken place and a service will be a held at a later date.
