Passed peacefully away surrounded by the love of her family on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 at Pleasant View Towers. Predeceased by her husband James Bearns and son Rick Bearns. Leaving behind to cherish her memory her beloved children: Jamie, Jimmy (Janet), Johnny (Kelly), Oral, and Glenn (Rosie), sixteen grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother Jack Bishop (Patsy); brothers-in-law: John Bearns and Jonas Newhook; sisters-in-law: Lorraine Davis (Tom) and Aurora Sweeney, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thank you to the staff of 2NW Pleasant View Towers for their exceptional care and love that they have shown our mother during her stay with them, your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday, December 21st, 2018 from 10am-2pm and 4pm- 9pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Saturday, December 22nd, 2018 at 11am with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
