It is with deep regret that we the family announce the sudden passing of Perry Tellum at home on Friday, May 27, 2011.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Mrs. Stella (Perry), Sydney, and the late Robert Tellum.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He lived life to the fullest and will be sadly missed by all whom knew him.
Besides his mother, Stella, Perry is survived by his daughter, Alysa; two sons, Robert and Allan; his sister, Marguerite LeMoine, Louisbourg; brothers, David (Margaret) Tellum, Louisbourg, Robert (Mindy) Tellum, Sydney; grandchildren; special aunt and uncle, Olive and Jackie D’Vries, as well as niece, Tammy LeMoine-Burke; nephews, Charles LeMoine, Chris Tellum and David Jr. Tellum.
Perry was predeceased by his father, Robert, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 31 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 1 in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Patrick O’Neil officiating. Reception to follow.
