It is with great sadness that the family of the late Austin Crocker announce his passing on Friday, May 27th, 2011 at the W.M.R.Hospital in his 70th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 51 years Marie (nee Snooks). Daughters Dale (John) Young of Trout River, Sheila Crocker of Brampton, and Rowella (Larry) Crocker of Trout River. Sons Wade Crocker of Oromocto, NB and Sheldon (April) Crocker of Corner Brook. Seven grandchildren, April (Levi), Chaney (Ashley), Shana (Chan), Trisha, Gregory (Krystyn), Scotty and Katie (Shane). Eight great-grandchildren Chelsie, Mitchell, Jody, Marshall, Marcus, Riley, Peyton, and Krystal. His sister Brada Brake of Victoria ,BC, sisters-in-law Evelyn Crocker of Sackville, NS, Marguerite Crocker, Pearl Crocker, both of Brampton, Mary Crocker of Cox's Cove and Gertrude Hann of Trout River. His caregiver Tara-Lynn Snooks. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Neil Sheldon and great-grandaughter Patience Burden. Visitation took place from the Anglican Church in Trout River on Saturday and Sunday where also funeral service will take place today Monday at 2pm. with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street Deer Lake.
