Passed peacefully away in the presence of her mother at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, August 27, 2009, Glenys Hodder, aged 54 years. Beloved daughter of Violet Hodder. Predeceased by her dad (Rev.) Nelson Hodder, sister Marilyn Parsons, niece Meaghan Parsons. Proud aunt to Matthew Parsons (Sarah) and great-aunt to Jackson; cherished brother-in-law Cordell Parsons (Joanne Eekhoff). The family would like to thank Earl and Myrtle Williams and the doctors and nurses at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital and the staff at Agnes Pratt Nursing Home for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Celebration will be held at Cowan Heights United Church, St. John’s on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
