The death occurred peacefully, with family by his side at The Whisperwood Villa, Charlottetown, on Sunday, January 6, 2019, of Russell Ford, formerly of Oyster Bed Bridge, aged 78. He was the son of the late Leonard and Grace Ford (nee Birt), and loving companion of Joan MacLean. Russell is survived by his siblings, Roma Prouse (Mel) and Norman Ford (Debbie); and niece and nephews, Tammy (Dave), Allan (Cathy), Norman Jr. (Hope) and Lonnie. Besides his parents, Russell was predeceased by numerous Aunts and Uncles. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 New Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
