HAYDEN, Gerard (Gerry) – Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the L.A. Miller Centre on Monday, November 10, 2008, Gerard (Gerry) Hayden, of Fermeuse, formerly of Petite Forte, Placentia Bay, age 76 years. Predeceased by his wife Mary, his parents James and Bride Hayden, sister Mary Hayden and brother Vince. Leaving to mourn two sons: Paul and Rodney (Sabrina), both of Toronto; three sisters: Mabel Ryan (Anthony), Madeline Power (Vince) and Jean Power, all of St. John\'s; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul\'s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Thursday, November 13th at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
