On May 26, 2011, Margaret Mary (Peggy) Hulbert passed away at Kamloops Seniors Village at the age of 91 years.

She was born Margaret Lucas on May 5, 1920 in Kingsville, Ontario. She married Robert (Bob) Hulbert in 1946 and moved to Valleyview in Kamloops in 1951. A long-time, loyal Woodward's Department Store employee, she continued doing part-time volunteer work in Kamloops, long after her retirement.

Peggy is survived by her husband Robert Hulbert, son Greg (Jill) Hulbert, daughter Valerie Summers and granddaughter Ann Summers, sister Agnes (Bill) Waterous of Kamloops and brother Richard (Gwen) Lucas of Caledonia, Ontario.

Peggy was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, a good friend and an exceptional worker. She was kind and generous, enjoyed people's company and remained sweet and courteous to the last. She will be deeply missed.

The family wish to express appreciation to the residential care staff at Kamloops Seniors Village for their daily and exceptional efforts to make Peggy's last years more pleasant.
