Veteran of Second World War.
Born in Bedeque, November 13, 1917, son of the late Sinclair and Myrtle (Simpson) Affleck. Husband of Alma (Allen) Affleck. Father of Harold (Virginia) Affleck, Charlottetown and Daryl Beairsto (Brian Koughan), Charlottetown. Grandfather of Chrystal Beairsto (deceased), Larry Beairsto (Christina MacKenzie), Leisa Beairsto (Phillip Lutwick II) and Angela (Scott) McClintic. Great-grandfather of Meghan Sommers, Danny MacKenzie, Jacob Beairsto, Laura Beairsto, Megan Lutwick, Phillip Lutwick III, Melaine Lutwick, Rebecca Lutwick and Orrin Lutwick. Brother of Clara Davol, South Shore Villa Crapaud. Brother-in-law of Viola Taylor, Kensington and Marion Allen, Freetown. Predeceased by brothers Lloyd, Simpson and Robert Affleck and his sister Bernice Best.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington.
Comrades of Branch #10 Royal Canadian Legion Borden will hold a tribute service, which is open to the public, on Wednesday at the Free Church of Scotland Cemetery, Cape Traverse, at 3 p.m. followed by a graveside committal service.
