DOMINEY, Robert Laurie - 73, of New Minas, Kings County passed away Friday, May 27, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Coldbrook, he was a son of the late Ralph and Hazel (Walsh) Dominey. He had been employed with Scotian Gold and Apple Valley Juices. He enjoyed fishing, various woodworking projects, running errands and being helpful to his friends and neighbours. He is survived by three sisters, Marguerite (Carl) Dennis, Coldbrook; Betty (David) Pinch, Wolfville; Shirley Dominey, New Minas; three brothers, Carl (Sylvia), Halifax; Ivan (Donna), Black Rock; Joseph (Audrey), Berwick; sister-in-law, Emma, Coldbrook; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Marjorie and Gladys; five brothers, Raymond, Gerald, Vaughan, Stanley and Delancy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation by family request. A graveside service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville, Kings County, Reverend Wayne Merrill officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Valley Regional Hospital - Medical Unit B.
