Anne passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Alderwood Rest Home, Baddeck.
Born in Sydney Mines on June 16, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Ida and John Boyce and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
An ever-present sense of humor and genuine friendliness were her trademarks. She will be remembered for her first-class knitting abilities and the culinary delights she served from her kitchen.
Anne is survived by son, John (Joanne), New Campbellton; grandchildren, Barry (Valerie), Judith, Carolyn (Robert Cowan) all of Halifax: great-grandchildren, William, Catie, Dylan, Skye, Scott, Hayley, Kristen, Brenna.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude for the many years of compassionate care extended to Anne by the staff of Alderwood Rest Home.
The funeral will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Knox Presbyterian Church, Grant
St., Baddeck with Rev. Stacey LeMoine officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
Donations may be made to Alderwood Rest Home, Baddeck.
