Age 84, Truro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, January 22, 2019, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Frances (Berry) Bonnell. Barbara worked with Modern Building Cleaning for a number of years and then worked with Clarica Centre in Ottawa as Office Administrator and Tenant Services Coordinator. She was an avid Bridge player, enjoyed Tai Chi and golfing at River Run Golf Course and Mountain Golf and Country Club; through these social activities, she met many people who became cherished friends. Barbara is survived by her sister-in-law, Sally Duggan, Ottawa; niece, Natasha Duggan, Ottawa; several cousins and friends. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Marion. At 2 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2019, we will gather at Robie Street Cemetery, 125 Robie Street, to lay Barbara and her sister, Marion, to rest with their beloved parents; please join us.
