James Garth Toombs of North Bedeque, in his 81st year, died peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born in Bedeque, he was the son of the late Irving and Jennie (Dingwell) Toombs. Survived by his caring wife of 55 years, Faye (Reeves) Toombs, RN; sons James (Tanya), Steven (Charlotte Evans), Richard (Angela) and Andrew (Melanie); six beloved grandsons Spencer (Kendra Smith), Braden (Chantal Kok), Jackson, Cameron, Maxwell and Ryan to carry on their Grampies’ Legacy; a brother Arthur (Lourice); and by a sister Cottie (Jim) Dobson. Predeceased by his precious twin granddaughters; and by a brother John. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday then to the Bedeque United Church for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment later in the Lower Bedeque Cemetery.
