Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, January 26, 2019, Edward William Fitzgerald, age 73 years. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Dorothy and brother Ronald. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Anne; daughter Shelley Hickey (Paul); two sons Glenn (Amelia) and Edward Jr. (Jody); four grandchildren Glenn Jr., Jesse, Lindsey and Jacob; one sister Theresa Fitzgerald; sisters-in-law Rosalyn Fitzgerald and Myrtle Singleton; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel with inurnment to follow at Blackhead Roman Catholic Cemetery.
