Yvonne H. Doody
The family of the late Yvonne Doody wish to express a sincere thank you to all those who provide support and comfort during the loss of a precious mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and most of all a faithful friend to all.
We are sincerely grateful to Dr. Young for his devoted care of our mother over the years and the many visits to her cottage and the time she spent in hospital. We would like to thank Dr. Murphy for his care over the years, Mom always spoke highly of you. We thank the nurses who had the chance to know our mother and had the opportunity to spend time with her. You loved her smile, wit and humour and she especially loved you. Especially the nurses from the Palliative unit and the team. Your support and understanding helped our mother in her time of need. They really do have angels there. She will be missed by all.
Thank you to our family, friends and co-workers who went beyond the call of duty and sent food, cards, flowers, messages, gave donations to the Palliative Care Unit but most of all for your ongoing support in our time of need. Our mother would have been so proud. A special thank you to our uncle Monsignor James Doody for making the trip to help celebrate our Mom’s final journey. Thank you Sister Kay for your support and playing the organ at Mom’s mass. Thank you to Bernadette Park for singing beautifully and also for the church choir. Finally, thank you to Fillatre’s for their compassion and understanding, especially Florence, you were our strength in our time of need.
“Rest in Peace, Mom, you’re with Dad in heaven now.”
Michael, Theresa, Beverly, John and Henry and their families and relatives.
