Shortliffe, Tanya Diane, of Truro, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2011 in Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Harold Shortliffe, Dartmouth, and Shirley (MacLeod) Shortliffe, Truro. Tanya was a very kind and loving person and she loved her grandchildren dearly. She adored and loved communicating with senior citizens. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Besides her parents she is survived by daughters, Britny, Truro; Katelyn, Toronto; son, Kyle, Truro; sister, Michelle Pace, Truro; grandsons, Damien and Jacqui; maternal grandmother, Margaret MacNeil, Glace Bay; paternal grandmother, Peggy Shortliffe, Truro. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held, 2pm Thursday, June 2, in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro, with the Rev. David Lutes officiating.
