It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing on Tuesday, May 30, 2011, of Pauline Walsh of St. Catherine’s, St. Mary’s Bay, in her 75th year. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas and her parents. Leaving to mourn with broken hearts and many fond memories are her nine children: Mary Downey, Tom (Jacinta), Betty (Glen Maxwell), Dave, Paul (Darlene), Pam (Ken Oates), Kevin (Rita), Charmaine (Paul Mercer) and Derrick (Corina); twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She also leaves a large circle of relatives and friends especially Elsie Power. Resting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mt. Carmel. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, from 12 noon - 9 p.m. and Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on June 2, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
