Dolores Shadforth

Dolores Shadforth

Date de décès : 10 février 2019

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Dolores Shadforth announce her peaceful passing at home in Amherstview, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 10, 2019, in her 79th year.
Beloved wife of the late Bill Shadforth. Loving and caring mother of Shelley, Niki, Deirdre (Ricci), Dana, and the late William Jr. Shadforth. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Todd, Kurt, Justine, Brianna, Hayley, Nicholas and Tye and by her great-grandchildren, Blake, Jordyn, Hartleigh, Zoey, Mia and Connor. Daughter of the late Whitney and Annie Bungay.
Survived by her sister, Winnie and by her brothers, Ken, Carl and Gordon. Dolores will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She was the best mom and the #1 cheerleader for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved being actively involved in her church and she was extremely proud of her friendships formed with her S.O.B. sisters. Her selfless acts of kindness will be forever remembered. Although everyone thought she would physically remain here on this earth for many more years, it brings some comfort knowing that she and Bill are together again.
The family will receive friends at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 4333 Bath Rd., Kingston on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 12 – 2 p.m. Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m.
Donations to St. Peter’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family in her memory.
Arrangements entrusted to the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0.
