LEONARD BATLEY
Leonard Prudent Batley, age 93, of Prince Albert, SK beloved husband of Ruth Batley passed away on Friday, August 28, 2009. Leonard is survived by his loving family: his wife Ruth (nee Craig); one son Craig; three grandchildren Zerrin Mueller, Quillan and Drae Batley; one great-grandson Tate Batley; an older brother Henry; an older sister Evelyn and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Julianne (nee Nichols) Batley; his brother Earl and his sister Donna. Leonard was born on November 8, 1915 near Regina, SK. He was a gentleman who lived a long honest life and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Len worked for the Prince Albert National Park from 1958 until his retirement and was well known in the area. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3 from Garden of Memories, Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may send email condolences to www.riverparkfuneral.ca.
