It is with great sadness that the family of the late Valerie Joyce Hutchings announce her passing at Corner Brook on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the age of 58 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Reg, children: Dean (Francis), Janet (Randy); mother Bella McKay, sisters: Marie, Jacqueline and Joy; father-in-law, Clyde (Joan); brothers-in-law: Terry (Helen), Arch (Brenda), Darrell and Don (Carol) along with a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She will be missed by one very special little puppy, Aningan. She is predeceased by her father Lloyd McKay. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Thursday June 2, 2011  from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Friday June 3, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon.  Funeral service will take place at The Humber United Church, Clarence Street on Friday June 3, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Fran Ota officiating.  Cremation to follow. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. The family guest book may be signed or memorial donations may be made by visiting our website at www.country-haven.ca
