Passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2011 at the L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit, Gordon Bastow, in his 90th year. Predeceased by his sister Ruth Miller, brothers Gerald, Douglas and David. Leaving with fond memories his loving wife Mardi (nee Long), sister Aileen Martin; sister-in-law Jean Bastow, many nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at All Saint’s Anglican Church, Foxtrap, on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. Private family interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
