Randy Edward Selnes
With sadness, we announce the passing of Randy Edward Selnes on March 2, 2019 at home.
Born in Alberta, he made his home in Sydney Mines for the past 5 years. His passion was in music and gardening and he just loved his loyal companions, his dogs, Button, Daisy and Lucy.
Randy will be missed by his partner, Heather Clarke, and all the friends he made here in Cape Breton. He will also be missed by his family in Lethbridge Alberta; his mother, Ruth (McNab) Selnes; children, Rebecca, Rachael, Ember, Melody, and Jubil; one sister, Teresa, and one brother, Greg.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas, and sister, Cheryl.
A gathering of friends will take place from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 8 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines. A prayer service will be held immediately following the gathering, for those who would like to stay and attend. There will be no burial. A Funeral Service is to take place with Randy’s immediate family in Alberta at a later date.
