Passed peacefully away May 9, 2011 in the presence of the Lord, surrounded by her family members, Annie Maria Quinlan of Birchy Bay at Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn her sons Adolphus (Ada), Augustus (Evelyn) and Anthony (Monica), daughters Maude (Bill), Amelia (Ernest) and daughter-in-law Mondella, four brothers, five sisters-in-law, one sister and one brother-in-law, 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by husband William, parents Adolphus and Ida Mews, stepfather Joseph, one daughter Elaine, one son Gordon, two sons-in-law Morgan Wells and Eugene Burt and two brothers Jack and Augustus Mews and sister-in-law Ivy Mews.
