The family of the Raymond Calvin Brewer would like to express its heartfelt thanks to family, friends, and neighbours for the support and compassion shown to us during Ray’s illness and passing. Your gifts of food and flowers and your words of comfort and sympathy in the many e-mail messages and cards during our time of sorrow were greatly appreciated. We also thank those who made donations in Ray’s name to the Salvation Army church and the Canadian Cancer Society.

We would like to express our deep appreciation to the doctors and staff of Western Memorial Hospital, especially Dr. Griffin, Dr. Rashleigh, and the nursing staff of 3A and the Palliative Care Unit for their commitment and respect.

We would also like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Majors Cassie and Robert Kean of the Salvation Army Citadel for their many hospital visitations during Ray’s illness, and for conducting a beautiful and moving funeral service after his passing.

Thanks are also extended to Fillatre’s for their professionalism and care in handling funeral arrangements.
