It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Ronald Joseph Cornect announce his passing on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Leona; sons: Robert (Mary), Kingston, ON, Paul (Nancy), Oromocto, NB, Brian (Nancy), Saint Jean Sur Richelieu, PQ, Dwayne (Vanessa), Goose Bay, NL, Denis (Sara), Burlington, ON; daughters: Rebecca (Terry) Chaisson, Mainland, NL, Michelle Cornect, Colorado, USA; 11 grandchildren; brothers: William, Clyde, Vincent, Leonard; sisters: Mabel Bungay, Margaret Cornect as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Johanna Cornect; daughter Ann Marie; brothers: John, Aldolph, Kevin and sister Delma. Visitation will take place at St. Ann’s Chapel, Mainland, NL on Thursday 7 – 9 p.m. and Friday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Anthony officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mainland. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted.
