1925 – 2019
The family of the late Nettie Irene Stewart age 94, formerly of Reserve Mines, wish to announce her passing on March 12, 2019 at the Saint John NB Regional Hospital, surrounded by members of her family. Nettie is survived by her daughter Sheila (Bob) Hallett, Hampton NB, son Jack (Verna) Stewart, Moser River NS and daughter Paulette (Mike) Driscoll, Summerside PEI; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Nettie is predeceased by her husband John (Jack) Stewart, parents Evelyn (Harris) Peters and George (Jack) Peters, siblings Kathleen Stewart, Laurie Ward, Inez Naugler and Donald Peters. A special thank you to the staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital emergency dept, 3C North and palliative care unit for their kindness and compassion. Visitation Sunday 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM in Patten Funeral Home 71 Union St Glace Bay. Funeral Monday 11AM in Patten Funeral Home Chapel. Donations to the Alzeimers Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
