1926 ~ 2011

George Donald Brown of Kamloops passed away on May 27, 2011 at 85 years of age.

George is survived by his loving wife Vi; children: Warren (Tanya) of Delta, B.C., Doug Brown of Powell River, B.C., Ron (Deb) Brown of Jasper, Alberta, Peter (Bev) Brown of Kamloops, B.C., Darwin (Sheila) Precoor of Calgary, Alberta, Tamera (Ray) Morrison of Kamloops, B.C.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sisters: Dorthy, Louise and Mae.

He was predeceased by his brother Clarence, sisters Nellie, Helen, Pat, Edith and Billie.

George grew up in Edson, Alberta. He served with RCN in WWII that was based in London, England. Upon returning from WWII, George started his 48 year career with the CNR.

He was always building things that ranged from houses to rocking horses. He was an avid vegetable gardener and he loved to walk.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Overlander Extended care facility.

A small family gathering was held on Monday, May 30th, 2011.
