The death occurred peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home, Friday, June 3, 2011, of Marina Waite (nee Ward), formerly of Hampshire, age 75.
Marina was the devoted mother of Milton, Ron (Linda), Alan (Kara) and Carol MacAulay-Martin (Darius Martin); beloved grandmother of 18; and great-grandmother of 19. She is survived by her brother, Milton Ward; her sister, Norma Newson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marina was predeceased by her husband, Elbert; her parents, Earl and Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Green) Ward; her sister, Helen Eileen; brother, Ernest; and granddaughter, Bobbie-Jo.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Sunday, June 5, 2011, from 6:30-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in Central Queen's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 2 p.m. Interment in the East Wiltshire Cemetery.
