JAMIESON, ROXIE EVELYN - Roxie E. Jamieson of McAdam, NB and formerly of Prince William Station, NB passed away June 4, 2011 at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB. Born at Prince William Station, NB in 1924, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Dorothy (Webb) Jamieson. Roxie loved children, nature, animals and living on the farm. She was an artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. Roxie is survived by one brother, Carl Jamieson (Barbara), Sheffield, NB; one sister-in-law, Shirley Jamieson, Fredericton, NB; a brother-in-law, Ted McGee, Moncton, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four brothers, Dr. Robert Jamieson (Sheila), Evans Jamieson, Raymond Jamieson (Jackie) and Ivan Jamieson; two sisters, Irene MacMullin (Roland) and Myrna McGee; two nieces, Catherine Proctor and Margaret Black.
Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at Sunny Bank Cemetery, Route 635, Magaguadavic, NB on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Donald Clowater and Rev. William MacMullin officiating. Pallbearers will be nephews, Larry Jamieson, George Jamieson, Robert Jamieson, Hal Jamieson, Chris Jamieson, William MacMullin, George MacMullin and John MacMullin. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Roxie, the family has suggested the St. Andrews United Church Choir Fund, St. Andrews United Church Sunday School, Sunny Bank Cemetery Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at Wauklehegan Manor for the excellent care Roxie received while a resident there for the past ten years.
