It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert Patrick Hynes announce his passing at his residence in Port au Port East on Monday, August 31, 2009 at the age of 74 years. He will be sadly missed by his two sons: Norman Hynes of Jasper, Alberta, Damon (Nicole) Hynes of Fort McMurray, Alberta, one daughter, Natalie Hynes of Port au Port East, five brothers: Donald (Patricia) Hynes of Kippens, Art Hynes (Mary) of Port au Port West, Phillip (Hazel) Hynes of Stephenville, Kyran (Mary) Hynes of Port au Port East, Bren (Theresa) Hynes of St. Lawrence, four sisters: Marie Taylor of St. John’s, Barbie Hynes of Stephenville, Jeroma (Wanna) Phillippo of Port au Port East, Collette (George) Murray of Halifax, Nova Scotia, one granddaughter, Bridget Hynes of Fort McMurray, Alberta and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Mayme Hynes, brother, Harold Jr., sister, Dolores Hynes. Visitation took place on Wednesday at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, September 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East with cremation to follow. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
