GREGORY GOUTHRO
We, the family of the late Gregory C. Gouthro, would like to thank our families, relatives, friends, neighbours and co-workers for the support we received following the sudden, unexpected loss of our husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. To those who phoned, visited, sent food to our homes and travelled from afar, our sincere thanks. Gratitude is extended to all those who sent mass offerings, sympathy cards, religious enrollments, charitable donations, monetary gifts, flowers and email condolences. To those who attended the visitation, and the funeral mass at Our Lady of Fatima church celebrating Greg's life; your kind words and comforting presence helped ease the pain of our loss and will never be forgotten. For all the participants in the funeral mass: the Eucharistic ministers: Jim and Valerie Morrison; gift bearers Doreen and Eddie Tynski; readers Michelle Gouthro and Sister Paul Marie Gouthro SA and Shaun MacIntyre; violinist Winnie Chafe, organist Pat Chafe, beautiful singer Michele Jessome, and to Father William Hann for the inspirational, healing mass. We are truly grateful to the pallbearers: Trevor Burt, Greg Nearing, Ray Tynski, Doug and Gordon Gouthro, and Kris Tynski. Sincere thanks to the CWL for providing the luncheon following the mass. Heartfelt thank you to Karen MacIntyre Norma Nearing, Donna Walker and Doreen Tynski for preparing lunches and keeping the teapots full. Special thanks to Terry Littlewood, Donna Bates, Peter and Marlene Burke, and Greg Nearing who were the first to respond to Greg's aid. Also to the paramedics, emergency room nurses, and physicians at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. A very special thank you to Marlene's niece Glenna Locke for being there for her.Finally, our sincere thanks to Trevor Tracey and staff at the TW Curry Parkview Chapel for your professionalism and kindness. You went beyond the call of duty. God bless you all.
