The death occurred suddenly at the Moncton City Hospital, Moncton, N.B., on Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, of Joseph Perry of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 60 years. Joe was born on Jan. 4, 1949, in Summerside, P.E.I., to his late parents, Joseph Earl and Alvina (nee Richard) Perry. Beloved husband of Brenda (nee Blacquiere) Perry and loving father of Jolene (Grant) MacDonald of Miscouche. Survived by his sister, Carol (Gordon) Goodwin of Amherst, N.S., and brothers, Walter (Pam) of Summerside, Robert (Irma) of Summerside and Ronald (Carolyn) of Central Bedeque. Also lovingly remembered by his grandson, Cody, his father and mother-in-law, Art and Eileen Blacquiere of Summerside and several nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. Besides his parents, Joe was predeceased by brothers, Earl Jr. and John Gerald. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, Sept. 4, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations in Joe’s memory to Community Connections, Summerside, or to St. Paul’s Church Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
