SWAN, Joyce Lorraine – 56, Debert, passed away suddenly Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at her home as the result of heart complications. Born April 27, 1955, in Antigonish, she was a daughter of Catherine Louise (Cass) Swan and the late Arnold Swan. Along with her mother, Joyce is survived by her spouse, Randall “Randy” Brooks; daughter, Meghan O’Brien; sister, Audrey; aunts, Peggy, Ann, Hazel, Dolly; uncle, George Swan; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friend, Debbie. All are invited to attend a graveside funeral service 1 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Crossroads Cemetery, 110 Salmon River Road, Valley.
