Irene Bugley

The death of Irene Bessie Bugley, 88, of Amherst and formerly of Tidnish Bridge occurred on Tuesday evening, June 7, 2011 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre in Upper Nappan.
Born on February 12th, 1923 in Belmont, NS, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Jessie (Pratt) Peppard.
Irene was a long-time member of the Tidnish Bridge United Church and belonged to the Cumberland Craft Association. Irene found great pleasures in numerous community activities.
She will be lovingly remembered and fondly missed by her three daughters, Sheila (Edward) Trenholm, Trenton, ON, Virginia (Rickey) Goodwin, Amherst and Carol (Lloyd) Pearson, Alberta; three sons, Larry (Judy), Amherst, Charles (Doris) and Ronnie (Rhoda) both of Tidnish Bridge; also surviving are her eleven beloved grandchildren; many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Irene was predeceased by her husband, Charles Layton Bugley; three sons, Kenneth, George and Rennie; as well as her three sisters, Eva Roulston, Leona MacLean and Olive “Ollie” Rose; four brothers, Lawrence, Aulden, Foster and Ira.
Her remains are resting in Campbell’s Funeral Home 98 Church St., Amherst (667-9906) with visiting on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Campbell’s Chapel with Wayne Jarvis, DLM officiating.
Interment will follow beside her husband in the Riverside Cemetery in Tidnish Bridge.
