Entered into eternal life at McAuley Convent, on June 7, 2011, Sister Mary Agnes Camilla Heffernan, age 98 years. Predeceased by parents Michael and Mary (Chafe) Heffernan of Maddox Cove, Newfoundland, brother Martin (Margaret) Heffernan and sisters Margaret (Frank) Cantwell, Nellie and Norah Heffernan, niece Diane Heffernan, grandniece Renata Withers. She will be fondly remembered by her Religious Congregation, the Sisters of Mercy; her nieces: Helena (Bud) Bragg, Dolores (Vince) Withers, Agnes Cantwell, Regina (Gerry) Angel, Lorraine (Kevin) Edney; nephews: Jerry (Dorothy) Cantwell, Ted (Donna) Cantwell, Michael (Lorraine) and Martin Heffernan; grand-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Waking at McAuley Convent, 250 Waterford Bridge Road, St. John’s on Wednesday, June 8 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 9 until 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 10, 2011, 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish Church, Waterford Bridge Road, with interment to follow at the Sisters of Mercy plot in Belvedere Cemetery.
