ZUCK – John William. It is with deep sadness the family of the late John Zuck of Prince Albert, SK would like to announce his sudden passing on August 30, 2009 at the age of 80 years. John was born on October 7, 1928 to Paul and Helen (nee Chuhaniuk) Zuck, and lived in Prince Albert where he split his time between raising his family of seven children, working the farm and working for the city as a Police Officer for 32 years. In his spare time, John loved to spend time his family and friends. He also spent time hunting, fishing and camping. John is survived by his wife of 52 years Gladys (nee Werchola); his children Brenda, Helen, Val and Randy of Prince Albert, John (Nancy) of Saskatoon, Paul (Ellen) of Melfort and Calvin of La Ronge; his five grandchildren Andrew, Scott, Napoleon, Courtney and Chelsey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; his sister Olga (Craig O’Neil) of Prince George. John was predeceased by his father Paul, his mother Helen and his brother Orest. In lieu of tributes memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 8th St. E., Saskatoon, SK S7H 0S5 or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK S7K 9Z9.
