Age 61 years, Died September 3, 2009 at the VG site, QEII hospital in Halifax. Born in Pictou, Nova Scotia, September 3, 1948. Predeceased by parents Waldo MacLeod and Margaret MacKenzie. Keith was a loving family man who was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved to get back to P.E.I. a couple of times a year to fish. Everyone who met Keith came away with their cheer uplifted. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Joanne (Beaton) MacLeod, daughters Karla Jane Burns and Kelly Cake, both from Ontario. Stepchildren Richard Mace and Michelle Logan, Atlanta, Georgia; brother Wayne MacLeod (Doris) of P.E.I., granddaughters Riley and Regan and step-granddaughters Ahrielle Silken and Olivia, niece Vicki, nephew Trevor, aunts Marge and Edie. Visitation/memorial service will be held at Bernard’s Funeral Home, Bedford, N.S., Monday, September 7, 2009, 2-4 p.m. Funeral service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to charity of choice.
