Beulah Roode (nee Irving) of Moncton passed away at the age of 64. Born in Truro, NS, she was the daughter of the late Vesta and David Irving of Kemptown, NS. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Gary; a daughter, Janet Smith of Moncton and one son Jamie (Donna) of Calgary, AB; grandchildren Caitlin Roode, Sierra and Summer Smith who were her pride and joy. Beulah is also survived by three sisters; Ruby Davidson (late Harvey) of Pembroke, ON, Helen Johnson (late Ed) of Toronto, ON and Glenda Irving of Truro, NS and three brothers; Raymond (Elva) of Truro, NS, John (Marie) of Kemptown, NS, and Warren (Diane) of Kingston, ON, as well as many nieces and nephews. Beulah was employed by the City of Moncton. She worked for the former Moncton Police Force from 1984 to 1998 and then with the Codiac RCMP from 1998 to 2005 upon her retirement with 21 years of service. She was a volunteer for 17 years as a Girl Guide Leader. She attended and was a member of the Wesley Memorial United Church. She was predeceased by her parents, one sister, Linda, and her grandparents. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, September 9th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 10th in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room.
