SUTHERLAND, Carolyn Ann - 65, of Pictou, passed away June 10, 2011 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Campbellton, N.B she was a daughter of the late Hedley & Ella Michele. Carolyn worked at the Children’s Training Center, Pictou and Family Services in Kentville. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and was devoted to her church. Surviving are her son, Randy (Michelle), Scotch Hill; grandchildren, Tayleur, Robyn, Kiara. She is also survived by brothers, Bobby, Keith (Joanne) both of Calgary; David, Montreal; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Monday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday from Munroe Avenue Baptist, New Glasgow, with Pastor Jerry Sterns officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Private family burial will be in Seaview Cemetery. Donations in Carolyn’s memory may be made to the Munroe Avenue Baptist Church, New Glasgow.
