ROACH, John Herman “Jack” - 81, Yarmouth, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born April 30, 1930 in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late William H. and Hariette A. (LeBlanc) Roach. He worked as a loom worker at Cosmos Imperial Mills in Yarmouth, and he enjoyed playing music on his keyboard. Jack was a veteran of the Korean War, and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 61, Yarmouth. He is survived by sisters, May Penney, Yarmouth and Lorraine Vacon, Manchester, New Hampshire; brothers, Bill Roach, Yarmouth; Pat Roach, New Glasgow; Jim (Julie) Roach, Dartmouth; Clifford Roach and Cecil (Hilda) Roach, both of Yarmouth. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. In accordance with the family's wishes cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth, and there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth.
