Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre, St. John’s on Friday, September 4,2009 in the presence of his loving family, after a brief battle with cancer, age 59 years from Portugal Cove South. Predeceased by his son Corey, mother Jane, father Patrick and brothers Cyril (Bridget), Alphonsus (Carmel). Left with fond and loving memories his wife Ann, son Melvin (Stephanie), daughters Tina (Cecil), and Corina (Mark). Grandchildren, Jordan, Lydia, Lauren and Jane. Brothers Mike (Rose), Herbert (Violet), France (Anna), sisters Violet (James deceased), Peggy (William), Josephine (Austin deceased) and a large circle of relatives, friends, a special nephew and close friend Phonse Coombs Jr. Remains resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Trepassey. Visitation on Sunday, September 6 from 2:30 to 9 p.m. Monday, September 7 from 1 to 9 p.m. On Tuesday, September 8 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, September 8, at 1 p.m. from Holy Redeemer Church, Trepassey.
