Passed peacefully away on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Shirley Goosney, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 75 years.  Left to mourn by her loving family that meant the world to her, son: Barry (Glenda), grandchildren: Adam & Heather as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She is predeceased by her husband Gerald Goosney (Sept. 9, 2006); father Gordon Young; mother May Young; brothers: Clarence and Ralph; sisters: Evelyn Kennedy and Ina Kennedy.  Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will take place at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, Main Street on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Rice officiating.  Cremation to follow.  Interment to take place at a later date.  As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society.  The family guest book may be signed or memorial donations may be made by visiting our website at www.country-haven.ca.
